Happy Fourth of July!!!

We had a great day. Wes and I took the kids to see ICE AGE..dawn of the dinosaurs, it was a lot of fun. After that we went to visit uncle Zacky, he was house sitting and invited us to come over for some swimming and a BBQ. We couldn't resist.
We bought some fire works...thank you Vegas for being firework friendly...and let the kids light them off. It was a blast....
we were stuffed,cooled off and happy.
Hannah had a blast doing the sparklers. Justyn had a blast lighting the big daddy fire works off. In fact he wanted to stop and buy some more on the way home....so we did. They were getting ready to close up shop and the lady didn't want to inventory the rest so she gave justyn a huge bag of fire works just so she didnt have to put them away...woohoo.

Memorial day weekend was a blast. We spent the time at our pastors house saturday. We swam, ate, fellow shipped ..repeat. we had such a nice time sat that the pastor invited us all back over Sunday after church to eat left overs and swim again. What a great time we had....I learned how to play a new game it is called Mexican train, i loved it. now i have to go out and buy it so i can teach my family how to play it.
I had such a wonderful time being with my church family, i am so lucky to have such a wonderful bunch of people to care for and who care for me and my family.

I cant believe this year is going by so darn fast. Justyn
turned 8, and Hannah is going to be 3 in like 7 weeks, that is not that far off.
We just had spring break and went to visit my family in Fresno. We had a great time.
We were able to go to the zoo, being in Las Vegas we don't have a lot of family attractions that are away from the strip and don't cost you $$$$$. And the pathetic place we call a zoo out here has like 5 animals...that are half dead. So the kids were pretty excited to check everything out.
Hannah kept running to each animal in aw yelling " more animals...look it's a.....famingo.."
They were having a bird show while we were there and i thought it was going to be boring but it really wasn't the kids had fun watching the birds and learning about them, they even had some that couls totally talk and throw away trash...i need some of those kinds of birds...


We also got to take them to Woodward park to feed the ducks and geese. What was cool was
when i was my kids age my grandparents took me to Woodward park, so it was fun to see my kids feeding the ducks at the same park i use to go to when i was a little girl. Memories...don't you love them.

Wes staid home from work today, he wasn't feeling well. Hannah was so excited that he was home. During the day i made him some soup and crackers and took it to him on a tray. Well Hannah thought that was so cool, so she said to me " mama can i eat lunch with daddy?" So i made her some soup and got her all set up and they got to have lunch together and watch some tv ...it was so cute..
While i was i the living room i could hear them talking..they were watching some show and wes kept flipping between the channel's i heard Hannah say " i like the other one better daddy".
It was just to cute, i love seeing them together, a little daddy daughter time!

Valentines day Hannah and i made heart shaped sugar cookies to take into justyns class. I made frosting for them to decorate with and sprinkles. When we got there the kids were so excited. Hannah was so excited to hand out her valentines cards to her friends in justyn's class.
When she went in they had made her her own valentine bag to put her cards in. Boy was she ever excited, " mommy look i got a princess pencil, and cany and ..."
The kids had a blst decorating there cookies and then getting to eat them, frosting glaore these kids piled it on. It is so cute to see justyn with his friends, they are so funny!
